L'histoire d'Adventigo a commenc\u00e9 en 2001 lorsque John Smith cherchait un \u00e9quipement durable et de qualit\u00e9 pour son voyage de camping \u00e0 long terme et a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er un magasin o\u00f9 un client peut trouver chaque petit d\u00e9tail au m\u00eame endroit. Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le march\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain des v\u00eatements d'ext\u00e9rieur et diff\u00e9rents \u00e9quipements pour les activit\u00e9s de plein air, il a pris la d\u00e9cision de cr\u00e9er une boutique en ligne enti\u00e8rement charg\u00e9e. Les premi\u00e8res ventes \u00e0 Adventigo ont commenc\u00e9 en mai 2001 et en quelques mois la boutique a gagn\u00e9 ses admirateurs.
